Vung Tau in October
October is a pleasant time to visit Vung Tau, with sunny, mild weather, calm seas, and relatively little rainfall. Daytime temperatures range from 25°C to 30°C, while nighttime temperatures are around 24°C–25°C. As the weather transitions into the dry season, average humidity is approximately 50–60%. It can feel slightly hot around midday, with stronger sunlight typically from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The weather is generally suitable for relaxing, sightseeing, and swimming, although it can be quite hot during the middle of the day.

Pack light with enough clothing for the trip. Avoid unnecessary items. Basic toiletries are provided by the hotel.

11.Q: If I don’t join the Outing, how should I arrange my work shift or leave? Who will approve it?
A: Employees who do not join the Outing should follow their regular work schedule. If leave is needed, please submit a leave request through the system and select the appropriate leave type for your People Leader (PL) to review and approve.
A: Doorgifts are reserved for employees who participate in the Outing. The Organizing Committee will provide gifts only to event participants. Employees who are absent due to business travel coinciding with both Outing dates may send their flight details to the Organizing Committee representative for support in receiving the doorgift.
12.Q: Will employees who do not join the Outing receive a doorgift?
13.Q: What if I have an unexpected issue or personal matter on the event day? Can I receive a replacement gift?
If you have registered but cannot attend, please inform the Organizing Committee in advance. Unless there is a valid reason with supporting documentation (except business travel), no replacement doorgift will be provided. Unexcused absence after registration may result in the case being reported to Management (LT) for appropriate action.
A: The Outing is designed to bring employees together through shared activities and experiences, not simply to receive gifts. 
The Company will arrange shift changes and coverage as needed. Employees working the night shift before departure will be off that shift and should register under “Offsite Training”, subject to prior approval from the Line Team (LT).
14.Q: If the Outing departs right after a 12-hour night shift, will employees get compensatory time off? Which leave type should be used?
A: Hotel check-in is at 15:00 according to the hotel’s policy. The Organizing Committee will optimize the travel schedule to ensure a smooth arrival, sufficient rest time, and enough time to prepare for the Gala. For special assistance with early check-in, please contact the Organizing Committee.
15.Q: Can we depart earlier to arrive in Vung Tau, check in early, and have time to rest and prepare for the Gala?
16.Q: Will the bus stop at a rest area? Can I bring seafood or strong-smelling items on the bus?
The bus will make a stop at a suitable rest area along the route for shopping and a short break. Seafood and other strong-smelling items must be securely packed in sealed foam boxes and taped properly, then stored in the luggage compartment. Please do not bring them into the passenger cabin. Employees are responsible for their personal belongings and should ensure they do not affect other passengers.
A: The Organizing Committee encourages employees to travel by bus for safety and to support a smooth hotel check-in process. Changing your assigned bus without prior notice may affect attendance records and may be considered a cancellation. If an unavoidable change is needed, please inform the Organizing Committee in advance for assistance.
17.Q: What transportation does the Company provide?
A: Employees may choose a room partner of the same gender. Couples who both work for the Company may share a room by providing proof of relationship. If no room partner is selected or the random option is chosen, the Organizing Committee will arrange rooms by gender. For a single room, employees must pay 50% of the room cost in advance to the Organizing Committee before the trip.
18.Q: What are the room-sharing arrangements?
19.Q: Are there any guidelines on alcohol consumption and activities after the Gala?
During the Gala, the MC and Organizing Committee will remind everyone to drink responsibly and in moderation. Each employee is limited to 3 cans of beer. For any personal or group activities outside the official program, participants are responsible for their own safety. Please always prioritize your safety and that of your colleagues.

6. Q: How will Gala Dinner performances be judged?
A: Performances will be evaluated based on:
- Teamwork and engagement
- Creativity and entertainment value
- Level of preparation and investment
- And, of course, the energy and excitement of the performance!
Awards will be given to the outstanding performances.
A: Please inform your People Leader and the Organizing Committee (OC), then arrange your own transportation to leave the outing venue.
7. Q: What if I have an unexpected family matter and need to leave early?
A: To ensure efficient transportation, coaches will operate based on designated pick-up points, regardless of team assignment. The OC will arrange coaches according to the number of registrations at each pick-up point.
9. Q: Can I travel on the same coach as my colleagues?
A: The OC will arrange transportation based on your selected pick-up point. Each coach will serve 1–3 pick-up points and travel to Vung Tau. Coaches will not make additional roadside pick-ups or drop-offs except in unavoidable circumstances.
8. Q: How will transportation to the outing venue be arranged?
A: Smart and polished attire is encouraged, with a personal touch. Check the official information page for outfit suggestions.
5. Q: Is there a dress code for the Gala Dinner?
A: Yes! The menu includes vegetarian and alternative options for guests with dietary restrictions or seafood allergies. Please indicate your requirements in the registration form.
4. Q: Are vegetarian or seafood-free options available at the Gala Dinner?
A: This outing is exclusively for LEGO employees to ensure focus and engagement in group activities. If you wish to extend the trip as a personal getaway, you may arrange and cover all expenses for your family members at the same destination. Please note that employees must follow the full company itinerary and participate in all scheduled activities.
